The Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering was established in the year 1992 to impart Diploma Level Education. The Govt. of Puducherry has up-graded the Diploma level into Degree level institution with the approval of AICTE, New Delhi from the academic year 2022-23 onwards. The undergraduate degree course offered by the department provides a comprehensive foundation in the core topics of ECE coupled with areas of specialization relevant to emerging engineering challenges.
